What would slaves have needed in order to rebel?

slaves didn't really rebel however some ranaway and got severly punished if caught and others teamed up with other slaves and tried to create and army. it hardly ever worked and they often got put to death


Edit: Slaves would often work slowly or "accidentally break tools". Sometimes tools were lost, or animals ran off because the workers weren't 'strong enough' to hold them. Some slaves were more risky, setting fires in sheds and barns, or even poisoning their master's food.~Answers
