For the first two, this may not always prevent a crash. Persuading drivers does not stop a car that is already going at a high speed, nor does slowing down entirely prevent a crash. For the third option, this would appear to be one of the goals of applying the IPDE process. As it gives a process to go down when presented with a scenario. Though I think we should go with the fourth option since it's something you would likely do after going through the IPDE process. Changing speed, direction, and communicating with other drivers, are all collective options that allow for better chances of avoiding a collision.
