Hspace is probably more difficult, though; depending on how you want it to look.
You can add more layers using hspace rather than `\rlap`.
The first `\hspace` you will use, would be centering the text/symbol.
Example:
`\(\LARGE\bf\hspace{100pt}\color{red}{Hello}\)`
Which gives you:
\(\LARGE\bf\hspace{100pt}\color{red}{Hello}\)

Once you add a second " `\hspace` ", you need play around with the " `pt` " until you find the spacing you want.

Example:

Which gives you:

For " `\hspace` ", you can remove `green`. Use curly brackets " `{ }` " rather than boxed brackets " ` [ ] ` ". You forgot to add " `\` " for " `\color` ". " `\color `" should fall in brackets.
