What was the 1954 Brown v. Board of Education decision? What case did it overturn? How did it change schooling?
@JustSaiyan
Well they decided that they were "separate but equal" (meaning it really didn't change much) but it got a little better for the students. It overturned the case known as "Plessy v. Ferguson". As for how it changed schooling, it made equal education opportunity the law, meaning no one could take that from them. It did NOT however, change what happened outside of school.
