@563blackghost Could you help with this real quick? :)
Did you get your other problem done?
Yes! :) I had figured it out.
ok good :)
You need to identify what transformation is happening. What transformation is happening reflection, rotation, translation, or dilation?
Wouldn't it be translation?
Right! We just need to identify the path...
Let's choose one point. Let's choose A. Point A is `(0,0)` at origin. We see that A' is at `(1,2)`. What does this say?
What do you mean by what does it say?
If point A is at origin `(0,0)` then that means whatever number presented for the next point of the x-value is the move. Example....If point A is `(0,0)` and point A' is `(5,6)` then our translation is 5 units to the right and 6 units up.
Oh okay! I'm sorry, I didn't know what you meant by that...
^-^ that's fine, do you now know what the translation is?
If point B is (1,3) and point B' is (4,4)?
Sorry I had to answer the phone :x
the same translation would apply as in point A. Since Point A goes from origin to (2,1) then it moves 2 unit to the right and 1 unit up. It would apply to point B too.
Wouldn't it be the same for C' as well? (2 units right and 1 up?)
yup
