Well, a good first step is to set them equal to each other

\(y = –2x + \color{red}{8} \qquad \square\)
\(y = x – \color{red}{4} \qquad \triangle \)

So i think that:

\(\color{red}{8} = y + 2x \qquad \square'\)

And:

\( \color{red}{4} = - y + x \qquad \triangle' \)

Or:

\( \color{red}{8} = - 2y + 2x \qquad \triangle'' \)

Consolidating this:

1) \(\color{red}{8} = y + 2x \qquad \square'\)

2) \( \color{red}{8} = - 2y + 2x \qquad \triangle'' \)


And so \( \square' = \triangle'' \implies \text{???}\)
