calculate ending retained earnings :
@JustSaiyan
INFO GIVEN: Liabilities: 589k Revenues: 786k Common Stock: 200k Expenses: 674k Dividends: 50k Assets: 975k Net Income: 112k
i know the formula to find it is beginning retained earnings + net income - dividends paid BUT the beginning retained earnings or ending ones aren't given and I'm so confused
help please!
@563blackghost Can you help love?
;-; i don't know dis.... @sillybilly123 maybe?

would the beginning retained earnings be 0 then and then would I have 0 + 112k (net income) - 50k = that is my answer?
62k?

What are the answer choice and question again? I may know it?
i don't have any answer choices

but the numbers i have come up with so far are: 62k possibly and 448k and i think it is 62k but I'm not sure and if someone could explain that'd be great
the question is this: calculate ending retained earnings and then with the table i gave above
please help
it's not sensible to ask qu's like this because accounting is tied up in definitions. but i think you're missing data good luck :)
