Comerpickles:

A triangle with an area of 3 mm² is dilated by a factor of 6. What is the area of the dilated triangle? 9 mm² 12 mm² 18 mm² 108 mm²

Comerpickles:

You don't have to help me Vocaloid, I want to give you a break. I know how tiring this can be at times

Vocaloid:

when something is dilated by a factor, we multiply it's length and width by that factor so if the length + width get scaled up by 6, the area gets scaled up by 6 * 6 = 36 so new area = old area * 36

Comerpickles:

You've done a lot for me

Comerpickles:

6*36?

Vocaloid:

the original area is 3 so 3 * 36

Comerpickles:

D. 108 alrighty, rest now Vocaloid, you've done well :) someone else can help me

Vocaloid:
