opposite angles add up to 180 so (x + 20) + 3x = 180 solve for x first [there's another step after this so don't stop there]
x=40
good, now we also know that <A + <C = 180 using the same rule so (2x + 38) + <C = 180 using the value of x we determined earlier (40) solve for <C
So basically? 2(40)+38+C=180
C=62?
