Prove that a line that divides two sides of a triangle proportionally is parallel to the third side. Be sure to create and name the appropriate geometric figures.

|dw:1518584786181:dw| a bit of guidance to help you get started on your proof - you can use the info provided to prove that the big triangle and small triangle are similar via SAS; if two triangles are similar, then they share all angles, then you can use simple geometry to show that the two lines are parallel based on the angles
