What is the question?
Which of these is an environmental effect of building dams? increased water temperature upstream increased fertility downstream weed growth upstream sediment builds up downstream
Well when you build a dam, you stop water flow. The more the water, the more the fertility downstream, since the dam is not affecting the area upstream
So A or B?
B
Which of these is an environmental effect of destroying wetlands? smog acid rain loss of habitat less flooding
I think C?
Yep!
Which of these is an effect of overcrowding in an environment? species create new habitats to survive predator-prey relationships change rate of animal reproduction increases less energy for consumers due to fewer plants
D?
id go with D too
Indeed. You don't even need help! Nice job.
Just checking lol
How can humans increase the rate of endangered or extinct species? build and populate more zoos pass more laws about land use reduce environmental impacts introduce new predators to an environment
Im not sure on this one
I would go with A as that would have the most immediate effect in my opinion.
Anymore opinions?
@iosangel
yes, A
A dam is built in a remote area to provide electricity to nearby towns. What is an unlikely effect of the dam? decreased farming downstream from the infertile soil decreased aquatic life upstream from warmer temperatures increased weed growth downstream from clear water overpopulation of species
C because there wouldn't be any water downstream from the dam, as it blocks it.
Ok lemme submit one sec
I got 2 wrong
which were they?
The first one and the fourth one
