22west:

What should I write a report on?

Ultrilliam:

I'm slightly biased on this... but QuestionCove? =P

Angle:

I'm not sure what is meant by "report"? like a research paper? current events / news?

22west:

Lol... Right...

22west:

Like a research paper...

Angle:

any suggested range of topics? random? history? science? anything you're particularly interested in?

22west:

Just nothing to do with history. Please...

Elsa213:

Oooooooo In my opinion, drugs and how they are bad for you are the easiest to complete.

bm717:

LMAO @Ultrilliam

22west:

Hmmm I'll think about the one Elsa...

Angle:

well what do you like? for example, I liked Studio Ghibli movies, so I wrote a research paper describing how the western themes affected the composition of the music of the films

22west:

Uhmmm.............

22west:

Do you want me to go into full detail or no?

Angle:

sure, if you want we can only give you vague suggestions if we don't know much about you...

Elsa213:

Easy peas. Then, explain how many people have died, what are effects, why do people take drugs, and finally, tips on how to quit.

Bob:

If he writes a report on questioncove his teacher would probably say something like "That sequel cheating site of OpenStudy?"

Angle:

another example: I love the death note anime, so I might write a research paper analyzing what "Justice" means in our society today, as the animie describes different people's interpretations of justice and how the main character is lead by his own interpretation of justice to commit murder

Bob:

Apparently, from my experience, that's what all teachers though of OpenStudy...lol

Ultrilliam:

o-o

22west:

I will tell you everything about me if you want...

Angle:

ahaha just general interests? do you like music? do you have a favorite movie you've watched 5+ times?

22west:

Yes and yes...

Angle:

or perhaps you have a strong opinion about various politics

22west:

Hell no with the politics...

Angle:

lol ok then what's the movie you like?

Angle:

or music

22west:

Logan Paul's music

22west:

Mostly

22west:

I also prefer country music.

22west:

Damn

Angle:

bm, it's hard picking research topics when you don't know where to start

22west:

Plus it's not for school so I can take as much time as I want to.

22west:

It's just t help me practice writing.

Angle:

and you know what... I think elsa's suggestion about drugs would be the easiest to do research on, because the research is already done - you would just have to paraphrase the statistics and all that

Angle:

ohhh it's not for school?

22west:

Yeah...

Bob:

What country music @22west

Angle:

I was gonna subtly say that logan paul might not be a good school topic, but if it's not for school - fine, that's and ok idea ^_^

22west:

Mostly Colt Ford and Jon Pardi

22west:

Also Luke Bryan

Bob:

o I prefer the classics

Bob:

willie nelson, glen campbell, john denver, jonny cash

22west:

Ehhh... Sometimes... Only when I listen to it with my step-dad and he listens to 94.1...

Bob:

Sometimes which

22west:

Oh yeah Willie Nelson and Jonny Cash

Bob:

ring of fire, i walk the line seven spanish angels with ray charles great stuff

22west:

Yes I love ring of fire and I walk the line...

Bob:

yep other greats aside from country music imo are Tom Petty and David Bowie

22west:

I'm listening to Santa Diss Track - Logan Paul

Angle:

ok so now that we've narrowed our topics down... some potential topics from my point of view (as someone who has not heard these songs before, I can only comment on what I know, so if you think of a better perspective to take for researching, feel free to go your own way) :) - What is a Maverick and how has Logan Paul incorporated this word into his branding and success? (aka maverick is a unique word that has positive meanings associated to it, so logan paul has associated this word with himself to give off positive vibes to his audience) - Johnny Cash's rise to fame, made lasting impressions, and continues to have his music played on radios after his death - what about him or his songs has allowed these things to happen?

Angle:

wrong angle x'D but what about it? :)

Bob:

"wrong angle" good one

Angle:

or are you saying that that is the topic you want to go for?

Ultrilliam:

You not only tagged the wround angle, you tagged the wrong angei... LOL

Ultrilliam:

Don't confuse Angei with Angel, and don't confuse Angei with Angle x'D

Angle:

cool, I'm not actually a fan of logan paul, but his use of the term "Maverick" is interesting to start your research on the topic, step one: look the word up in the dictionary step two: notice the places / how he incorporates the word into his videos / music - how he uses the word to address himself, or his viewers example: "we're all mavericks!" - compare the mood/tone of the strict definition compared to how he uses it

Angle:

personally, the only other place I've heard of "maverick" is in the No Game No Life opening song, used to describe how unique the main characters are and how they are super geniuses no one can compare to
