History nerds please <3 What are some of the Political Revolutions and what led to them?

Shadow:

Any particular ones you have in mind?

bm717:

Just the ones near like 1600s-1900s? Honestly im so lost in history

Vocaloid:

two examples that come to mind in that era are the American Revolution (which was about representation of the American colonies, taxation, etc) and the French Revolution (which was about the conflict between the impoverished worker class in France and the aristocracy)

Shadow:

The German Revolution is one in particular that holds my interest, since in the aftermath of it, Hitler rose. It occurred after the First World War, which Germany participated in and lost. The people were unhappy with the conditions they suffered in over the four years that the war lasted. Thus a change from a federal constitutional monarchy to a democratic republic was enacted. The people wanted their voice heard in how the government was ran, and the constitutional monarchy didn't have a great platform for that. Though, the government was switched towards a democratic republic, Hitler used it to create the Nazi party, and catapult his own ideas.

bm717:

ty :)

Shadow:

The time frame for the German Revolution would be 1918 to 1919, when the Weimar Constitution solidified Germany as a democratic parliamentary republic.
