mikewwe13:

but A and B to rewrite is 0 and 1

dude:

I mean rewrite B and C into numbers For example B would be \(-5<n-3<2\)

mikewwe13:

8 < 7 -1 < 1 am i correct ?

dude:

Not quite, try again

dude:

8 times a number means 8x

mikewwe13:

8x-7+-1

mikewwe13:

i'll be right back

dude:

Okay so the sum means that you are adding what they are about to say (something + another thing) It then says 8 times a number and 7 (8x+7) "is between -1 and 1." is talking about the sum overall in between means its in the middle \(-1<8x+7<1\)
