Use the image below to determine the area of the triangle and how many she can cut out. Triangle with height of 6 inches and base of 12 inches aligned at bottom of a 12 by 12 inch square grid. The area of the triangle is 36 in2, so she can create only 2 triangles. The area of the triangle is 72 in2, so she can create only 2 triangles.
