What right did the U.S. retain when it gave the Panama Canal away? the right to use the canal first the right to cheaper shipping the right to control who used the canal the right to protect the canal

Falconmaster:

@JustSaiyan its not a or c

Falconmaster:

KYLIEEE hi

KylieAurealis:

It is "the right to control who used the canal"

JustSaiyan:

Dude it is D. If you give it away, it isn't yours to guard, however you can still use it with permission from the owner. Same for C, if it isn't yours, you can't say who can and can't use it.

Falconmaster:

XD

JustSaiyan:

Lol. That sounds confusing, let me explain it better. The answer is D, you can defend it if you are allied with the new owner, however, you can't control who uses it, use it in general (unless you have permission). B is kind of ignorant.
