I'm a liar, been a thief, i wrote this song cuz' i want to make it up to you, and when i pick up my pen it destroys everything around me, It only takes a spark to ignite the fire that rages inside of me.

When i was young, I wanted to be great, Now that I'm here i wish I was back being young, having those memories. Wish i hadn't let it out, wish i had the courage to ask her. Wish i went to that dance, Wish i bottled up that anger. Wish i got out of that shell. I wish that I didn't worry about what other people thought and felt amazing being myself.

Mhm, that's cool. In my experience, writing gains more depth and detail when it comes from real events. It's because you have typically already determined how you feel about certain things, and you can let that emotion pass into your writing.
