What good excuse for a cracked wall outlet ?
@Vocaloid
@Shadow
To your parents, or your landlord?
let's say both
You cant really make an excuse, how you broke it wouldnt change if you pay for it.
i need to come up with a plan
Discolored or Cracked Electrical Outlet If your electrical outlet shows signs of discoloration, it can indicate that the connections are overheating. In this case, the outlet should be inspected by a licensed electrician and could mean a variety of safety concerns. In the end, the outlet will need replacing. If your electrical outlet’s face plate has cracks, you are exposing the loose terminals, which is a definite hazard for anyone using the outlet.
i looked this up and i could show it to my dad
Do what ever you feel like
i think just to replace the plate
face plate
Is it just the casing?
yes it's just the plate that needs to be fixed
i bet you can get like from home depot
Yeah just buy a new one. I have those lying around the house since we're remodeling some rooms. You can get them at Home Depot.
right it's not the outlet, it's the plate
mhm
i mean is it a big deal if it has to get replaced ?
how did you even break it dude
do you think the landlord will charge if i can simply replace it ?
my desk broke down and must've fell unto it
it's a long story
your landlord shouldnt charge you if he doesnt notice it. Just fix it.
ok i'll show pic
You dont have to, just replace it
just get a new case thingy. it wont be noticeable
right but as for my wall well...
i'll change soon i can get chance to
but anyway as for the outlet plate, i got to sooth with my parents to get them to understand without yelling and saying i have no business breaking things in there
it cost a few dollars, they dont need to know if you dont want to tell them lol
If you do tell them just say you dont know what happened but you are going to fix it
man here's the thing, try to come up with an creative excuse saying i had my charger or something
that resorted into the face plate broke
Mike there isn't really a good excuse. If you know how it broke, just be honest. If you don't, tell them you don't know how. But regardless, just get the plate and tell them you'll fix it yourself. It just needs some properly placed screws and it's good.
If you tell your parents and get it fixed, you don't need to tell your landlord.
yea but they gonna ask, how did it broke and if i do try to explain it to them, they won't be able to understand or believe me
cause it didn't broke by itself
Just be honest. You're over-complicating it.
i'm not man but it's just that everytime i tell them it's accident they don't always believe it
they said it's always an accident
they said it's always an accident
it should be fine as long as you fix it
yea if i can get another face plate
but i'll ask my dad
lowes, they cost only a few dollars
how much a few dollars ?
but hey i ain't gonna keep ya'll man
Should be less than 5
overreacting like this
well maybe
also if i tell them, they'll scream and my sister gonna be there to proscrinate
what to do about my sister ? do i don't worry about her ?
