How does photography connect us?

I believe by capturing and sharing the beauty we find in the world, with others, is what allows photography to connect people. Since it is not words that come with definitions and connotations, it allows for anyone to look at the image and interpret it for themselves. We often, as a society, lose track what we find beautiful. Whether it be through the stresses of life, or a tragedy that has struck, those precious entities can fall from memory. They are what is truly inspirational in life, and seemingly evokes a will to live. People all want to find something beautiful - there is a simple human need for that. Photography is one of the most popular means by which to facilitate this, satisfying a human need that we all have. It is through this that millions can become connected, in the sight of a beautiful thing.
