Wind power is an alternative to conventional fossil fuels. However, wind power is dependent on variable weather patterns. What is the MOST IMPORTANT drawback of this dependency? A) The energy output from wind farms is negligible. B) Unlike solar energy, wind energy is not renewable. C) Wind energy cannot be used to generate electricity. D) A backup energy source is required to make up for shortfalls.

@Tr3 What do you think?
I think c im just making sure
Wind energy is used to generate electricity though
ik i just chose
Well since it's dependent on weather patterns, what happens when the weather isn't favorable to producing electricity? Don't homes still need power?
originally i chose a
Wind power helps many areas function due to the generated electricity. Therefore, it is not negligible (which means small, or insignificant).
However when wind fails, some other power source would need to come into play.
k thnx bai
It would be D
I think it is D.
How do you think?
Haha, I already laid out my reasoning.
No one said that there can't be multiple answers.
