That's much more difficult. The grass glanced happily at the soft formations made in the sand by young children, nevermore a flat plane of despair. Personification - when you given a human quality to a non human or non living thing. Just rant about how 'this beach in particular' was one that had been without use for some time. Now it is visited by young children whom help bring some light to this beach, and the grass enjoys this, thus why they "glance happily" which is a use of personification.
