Y Plots: 395, 390, 391, 402, 395, 405, 432, 438, 420, 425 Z Plots: 456, 454, 449, 453, 431, 456, 445, 430, 463, 438 a. Calculate the mean for sample Z and for sample Y. b. Which sample will have larger measures of deviation from the mean? In two or more complete sentences, explain your answer.

Vocaloid:

a) to find the mean of sample Y, add up the values in sample Y and divide by the number of values (10), similar process for sample Z b) larger deviation = more spread out data, you should probably calculate the standard deviation from this (this is a pain to do by hand but you can use an online calculator) to see which one has the higher standard deviation
