There are many different causes for pollution. Many people think of big corporations or oil rigs when they think of people polluting. However, that isn’t nearly the worst part. Many people don’t know that what they do in their daily lives affect the air around them and the food they put into their bodies. By not doing anything about it they are merely letting it get worse.
Most people don’t understand that pollution is affecting the world we live in today. It is giving us cancer. It is giving us bad health. It is poisoning us. It is increasing every day because people refuse to acknowledge what pollution is doing to our ecosystems and our environments. In many different ways they help to make matters worse for the environment. By throwing down that cigarette they are poisoning the soil around it.
There are many solutions to the pollution taking place around us. We can help by picking up trash we see on the side of the road. We can help by making eco-friendly power plants and factories. We can help by using less electricity and water. By not burning harmful things in the world. Picking up that bottle on the side of the road might not seem like a big difference but it is. Someone could see you and think, “Maybe I should do that”. It could cause a chain reaction for multiple people. That one bottle can turn into thousands of bottles. It only takes one person to start a movement. To make a change. It takes on step in the right direction. One person following their heart.
Some other ways would be recycling. By separating your plastic from your metal, and your cardboard from your trash. Bottles can be reused instead of creating new waste you could help recycle old waste into new products. Cardboard can be shredded and help seeds to grow more efficiently.
