The number 60 is the radius, if put into the unit circle. (worry about that later). The side from 60 degrees to 90 degrees is 1/2 of the radius.

The triangle of 45 degrees has the same measure for both of the sides, except the radius. If one side of the triangle for 45 degrees is 40 meters, then what would the other side be?
