zarkam21:

List five parallel circuits you use at home or school, including the item or items that cause resistance. Look at power strips that have more than one device plugged into them. These circuits are parallel.

Vocaloid:

well going off of what they said, an example would be multiple appliances plugged into an extension cord with multiple outlets, the resistors are the devices/bulbs/sensors/etc. that are drawing electricity

Vocaloid:

going off the top of my head maybe an LED TV screen with lots of bulbs, if one part of the screen is busted the rest of the bulbs still work, with the bulbs themselves acting as resistors

zarkam21:

Fans Electric bell

Vocaloid:

good, with the fans/bells/etc. being the resistors to the current a last example could be car batteries, with the batteries themselves acting as resistors

Vocaloid:

with the car you could also say things like signals/lights, etc. inside the car are also resistors

zarkam21:

Wait for the fan-resistor would be the current

Vocaloid:

current itself is not a resistor but any device that uses up electricity can be a resistor like the motor that turns the blades of the fan maybe

zarkam21:

and for the electric bells, it would be the motor inside that right>

Vocaloid:

I am not exactly sure how an electric bell works but I suppose there must be some motor or something making the bell move

zarkam21:

making that the resistor ?

Vocaloid:

yes
