@Shadow aren't all of these technically simple harmonic motion equations? :S
A
that's a good attempt but not quite, the ball doesn't repeat its motion exactly because the bounce height gets smaller each time any other ideas?
which scenario involves the a series of repeated motions carried over regular intervals?

?
it's asking about the period not the amplitude remember that the coefficient of x can be described with the variable b so period = 2pi/b = 2pi/(pi/4) = ?
1/2
check your calculations again 2pi/(pi/4) = 2pi * (4/pi) = ?

yeah good ^^
it's a little blurry but it looks like b = 8pi so you would just calculate 2pi/(8pi)
it is d=4sin(8pi)
yeah, it's d = 4sin(8pi*t) making the coefficient b = 8pi
so i would calculate 2pi/8pi making it 0.25
good but the problem probably wants a fraction judging by the instructions so I'd say 1/4 instead
anyway I have volunteer work for the next few hours, I'll try to be online tonight though
