well this is an opinion-based question so it will depend on what your personal beliefs are, but imo kids might not understand the implication of putting themselves/their personal information on the internet, they might not understand what should be kept private and might be more vulnerable to having their private information taken by unscrupulous people

bullying/harassment are also problems on social media and kids might not be as able to handle it as adults are
