dude:

Bear Ill do meth if I want

Bearclaws72:

Oh thats it mister. You just got the timeout chair

dude:

For the first question she can conclude ΔABC and ΔEDC are similar because they have equal angles. ΔABC has \(\angle \)B = 90° and ΔEDC has \(\angle \)D = 90°. \(\angle \)ACB in ΔABC = \(\angle \)DCE in ΔEDC (opposite angles) (Which means that \(\angle \)E = \(\angle \)A as both triangles have angles which add to 180°.)

umm:

Mark, stop spamming. ._. I'm trying to understand and you're a distraction ._.

Bearclaws72:

pfffft fine

dude:

For question 2) If DE=32ft then (because the triangles are similar) we can use a proportion \(\large \frac{AB}{BC}\) = \(\large \frac {DE}{CD}\) \(\large \frac{AB}{100}\) = \(\large \frac {32}{22}\) AB = 100 \(\large\cdot \frac{32}{22} \) \(\therefore\) AB= 145ft

umm:

Thank you.

dude:

Sure :)
