Which of the following is most likely to be an observation made by an anatomist? A DNA repair mechanism restores the original sequence after a mutation. Sensory receptors convert their information into impulses sent to the CNS. Specialized cells in the epidermis produce the dark pigment melanin. The nervous system is composed predominantly of neural tissue.
So, uh....i started this class completely confused. Someone help? ^^
There's a difference between a biologist and an anatomist. Which one do you think it is? Where are they talking about anatomy and not physiology or processes of specific cells, tissues, organs or whatever?
Well, if i were to choose, i'd say that teh first one seems to be talking about only Biology content.
Yes, but like I said, they all talk about science so that's not a good way to choose. The first one talks about understanding DNA repair mechanisms. There is no anatomy mentioned whatsoever
Therefore, it wouldn't be an observation made by an anatomist.
So there is only one that would be?
That is what the question is asking.
So it would be either the last two ones....
I'd say the last one would be something an anatomist would observe.
Is that correct?
Good job. That is correct. The other options are more physiology/biology/neuro
All righty. Thanks.
You're welcome
