If you want to talk about an unnecessary war, the Vietnam war is right up there with the Korean war and Afghani. Let me read through real quick.
A is certainly correct, the containment policy/domino theory are all poor policy excuses that were sloppy seconds left over from the Red Scares, incompetent fear-provoking politicians and cold war.
And C seems likely.
