Vocaloid:

well you are given the equation n1 Sin A1 = n2 Sin A2 you are also given the values of n1, A1, and A2 you just need to plug them into the equation (1)sin(60) = n2*sin(26.8) and solve for n2

Vocaloid:

yup

Vocaloid:

just to double check, it just says "60" and "26.81" right, it doesn't have any degree symbol ° right? ;;

coffitivity:

actually yes both of them do. Does that make a difference?

Vocaloid:

yes, units are very important, you will need to change your calculator to degree mode so using degrees we get 1.92076 not -0.30

coffitivity:

I don't believe my calculator has a degree mode. Is there any online calculator that I could use?

Vocaloid:

wolframalpha.com

coffitivity:

Okay! I got it! thank you so much for your help!
