If there was a sudden decrease of fungus in a specific area, explain the impact this would have on the plant populations within this environment.

So fungi are very important in the environment because they act as the decomposers of every dead thing this helps so the organic matter will be available for the fungi to grow. So if there were to be a sudden decrease the dead matter would pile up polluting the environment.
