Ancient question but answering to close Recall that the median from the angle goes from the vertex to the midpoint of the opposite side In this case, the median of angle B goes from point B to the midpoint of AC so first you'd need to find the midpoint of AC using the midpoint formula. you can give this point a new name like point D. then use the distance formula to calculate the length of segment BD
