When an individual creates study materials he must inevitably go through the material being studied and condense it in a way that can be taught to others. In this way, they are reinforcing the material for themselves, and thus, this can be considered a study strategy. Personally, I think it is important step because it takes the information and processes it in a way that makes sense to the studier.
