Vocaloid:

to do a vertical stretch of 4 you would just multiply the (1/2)x^2 by 4 and leave everything else alone

Pixel:

so am i correct

Pixel:

oh wait nvm

Vocaloid:

good but they would most likely want you to simplify it, giving us 2x^2 + 4 as the sol'n

Pixel:

it asks for the equation though.

Pixel:

"what is the equation for g(x)"

Vocaloid:

yeah, 2x^2 + 4 would be the equation, it already provides the g(x) = part

Vocaloid:

I guess it's possible they'd want you to leave it unsimplified as (1/2 x^2) * 4 + 4

Pixel:

I'll leave it un-simplified and if i get it wrong I'll say i know what it is just not the form and get full points
