Hello @keionf18

keionf18:

hi how are you

Shadow:

Lets start by defining the terms. Integer: a number that is not a fraction. Whole number: a positive numbers, including zero, without any decimal or fractional parts. Real number: all the numbers you can think of! They consist of zero (0), the positive and negative integers (-3, -1, 2, 4), and all the fractional and decimal values in between (0.4, 3.1415927, 1/2) Rational number: any number that can be expressed as the quotient or fraction p/q of two integers

Shadow:

These are the good definitions that I could find from Google. Which one does -3 not fit in?

keionf18:

ok

Shadow:

-3 is a negative number, and one of these terms only fits positive numbers
