A black hole is a type of astronomical object with a very strong gravitational force. Suppose a black hole is continually increasing its mass by attracting more and more matter. How does this increase in mass affect the gravitational force of the black hole? A. The gravitational force will increase. B. The gravitational force will decrease slowly. C. The gravitational force will remain the same. D. The gravitational force will eventually become zero.
What do you think?
I think the answer the for will increase
Correct. More mass = more gravitational force. That's the directly proportional relationship that we were talking about earlier. Black holes are actually so dense with mass, that their gravity is the most immense of any objects in the known universe. Their gravity is so strong that even light cannot escape it, and Stephen Hawking noted that time actually slows down around black holes. If time travel is possible, black holes are probably involved. It also may be a form of energy production in the future, given it's other properties.
Thank you for explaining :)
