MichelleB:

The center of a circle is at (-5, 7) and its radius is 6 units. Which of the following is the equation for this circle? A) (x - 5)2 + (y + 7)2 = 36 B) (x + 5)2 + (y - 7)2 = 36 C) (x - 5)2 + (y + 7)2 = 12 D) (x + 5)2 + (y - 7)2 = 12

dude:

Radius is always squared \(r^2\) \((x+n)^2+(y+m)^2=r^2\) N is the number of units to the horizontally it travels (x coordinate of the center) M is the number of units to the vertically it travels (y coordinate of the center)

MichelleB:

oh k, ty friend

MichelleB:

so would it be C?

MichelleB:
