I wish i could help, but i do not know much about math. Perhaps @Hero or one of those could assist.

Hints: You could graph the functions. That would be one way to discover which is not exponential decay. Or you can look at the base number. Any number less than 1 will cause the function to decay exponentially. Any number greater than 1 will not decay exponentially. You should try graphing each function though so that you can observe this phenomenon for yourself.
