Question

My first attempt at writing a sestina

"Lily, pick up your crayon,"
The mother says to the child
"C'mon now, let's color,"
"But I don't want to!" She shouts at her mother
"Young lady don't have that kind of air"
She disregards and picks up her picks up her book

She wobbles away with her book
Acting like a grumpy child
Her mother angry, losing patience and turning a red color
"Lily, Why must you be upsetting?" Asked the mother
"Outisde! Outside!" The little girl chants, and the mother thinks, "Oh you want some fresh air?
As she walks out with her, she picks up a crayon

When they get out, the sky is a blueish color
As Lily plays, Emily, the mother, picks up a book
"Oh mother, Oh mother!"
Lily giggles, "Can you get me a crayon?"
"You'd best be glad I have patience with you child,"
She huffs in some air

As she walks inside she can feel the cool air
She grabs the blue one, Lily's favorite color
She then walks out and hands it to her child
The young mother, now tired picks up her book
"Thank you mommy for the crayon,"
The little girl smiles at her mother

She smiles back and realizes, I love being a mother
Lily's breathes in some air
And it seems like a sigh, and in her hands she holds a broken crayon
"Mommy, can you fix it? I was just trying to color.."
The mother sits down her book
"I don't think I can, I can get you a new one though, child"

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Chants the little child
She walks in and grabs another and walks back out, thinking she is a patient mother
Once again, she gives the crayon and picks up her book
The little girl breathes in some air
And it sounds like a sigh, once again "Mommy! I was just trying to color.."
"Oh Lord here we go again," she says and she gets another crayon

Well done ^^ I like the simplicity/innocence behind it and the dual use of color as a noun and verb. I'm also especially impressed at the speed; my first sestina took me a long time to write haha
