InTheSea:

When this circuit is closed, which way do the electrons flow? from the negative end of the battery through the capacitor through the resistors to the positive end from the positive end of the battery through the resistors through the capacitor to the negative end from the positive end of the battery through the capacitor through the resistors to the negative end from the negative end of the battery through the resistors through the capacitor to the positive end

InTheSea:

@Shadow D?

InTheSea:

Correction, A?

Shadow:

I've never dealt with capacitors before, but based on my knowledge of batteries, electrons flow out from the positive end of a battery, and come around to the negative side.

InTheSea:

Ah yes, so it would be B then

Shadow:

Apparently they just store charge

InTheSea:

Yep, and release it in a burst

InTheSea:

(rather then gradually)

Shadow:

Interesting, and cool

Shadow:

I might be playing with some wires this summer since I'll have a lot of time on my hands, so I might try build a capacitor. A video I just watched didn't make it seem too difficult.

InTheSea:

Cool! Lemme know how it goes!

Shadow:

Will probably end up electrocuting myself

Shadow:

fun :)
