What is an example of an "I message" ?

I feel frustrated when you show up late because I feel that you don't respect my time. Will you please make an effort to be on time this week?

I know you are tired because you work all the time, but is is our shared responsibility to do the dishes. Can you start doing the dishes at least half of the time?

I see that you're making more of an effort to follow through on your responses, but I still don't know if I can trust you. Can you give me more time to see if your behavior really changes?
