looollzz:

If g(x) = 2[X] − 1, what is g(−2.3)? a.-7 b-5 c.-4 d.-3

dude:

Simply substitute -2.3 in for x in the equation for \(g(x)=2[x]-1\)

looollzz:

I would but I don't get how to do that either that's why I asked online cause I cant do it. I want the answer not how to do it cause I don't know how, that's why i put the possible answers.

dude:

Is the bracket confusing you?

Hero:

\(g(-2.3) = 2[-2.3]-1\) are you able to at least calculate that @looollzz

looollzz:

No im stupid i dont get it

dude:

Ah you're completely lost?

looollzz:

yes.

dude:

We know that \(g(x) = 2[x] − 1\) is the equation for a function named g(x) \(g(x)\) can also mean y So you can rewrite it as \(y=2[x]-1\) if that is clearer

dude:

Does that make sense?

looollzz:

Banana.. nvm omg i just wanted a Bananaing A..B...C or D Bananaing Bananaing Banana's Bananaing god damn

Hero:

Way too much banana-ing going on here.
