well we can start with 1/x 1/(x-1) is a translation in what direction? left right up down? multiplying by 2 to get 2/(x-1) is a stretch, vertical or horizontal? and multiplying the entire thing reflects it across an axis, x or y? lmk if you're having trouble or want to check your solution

quickstudent:

Well this is what I got so far: From the parent function y = 1/x 1. vertical stretch by 2 units 2. shifted to the right 1 unit 3. ???

quickstudent:

I'm not sure what that negative sign means

quickstudent:

@Vocaloid

Vocaloid:

if you multiply the entire equation by -1 it's a reflection across the x-axis

quickstudent:

Oh ok
