This first one is a beginning to a series of poems, and it is an elegy, which is a sad and melancholic poem:
Everyone's walking into the church in all black,
I sniffle softly as I follow behind,
And people all follow me to the back,
And I look under the bench to find a note inside.

I hate limericks, because they sound choppy,
Not like they are like free verse and are sloppy,
I hate them and I am writing this so you all will see,
This poem is why I will probably get a D.
And my teacher will throw me out of class.
