quickstudent:

Identify the steps to completing the square.

Vocaloid:

1. move all the x and y terms to one side 2. start by identifying the b-term coefficient, or in other words, the coefficient of the x term 3. divide that coefficient by 2, square the result 4. the result from step 3 to both sides of the equation 5. you will now have a perfect square trinomial you can factor to get something like (x-h)^2 where h is the x-coordinate 6. repeat steps 2-6 with the y-terms. you will get (y-k)^2 where k is the y-coordinate 7. move the rest of the terms to the other side (the constants) hope that makes sense
