5. you will now have a perfect square trinomial you can factor to get something like (x-h)^2 where h is the x-coordinate
6. repeat steps 2-6 with the y-terms. you will get (y-k)^2 where k is the y-coordinate
7. move the rest of the terms to the other side (the constants)
