He didn't even know he was going to be playing the solo part until two days ago. They had each flute in his band play one by one and it was majority's vote on who the soloist would be. So them other flutes decided my little brother was the best <3

@gabethebabe yeah I know x'D it's a high school band (grades 10th-12th) but it's the non-serious band in the school [they have an audition-only wind ensemble for the kids really into music]. in general, this band consists of kids interested in an easy A and rarely ever practice their instruments outside of band practice :P

oh this is a high school band oh thats sad that music sounds like level 3-4, im in my schools band we play high 5's and a few 6's. Yeah its the same with my school im only in band bc its a free a+ and i want continuity on my college app. i used to be allstate but i stopped practicing and now im just a district chair, but idc ab band just want the achievement u feel?

hahaha I get exactly what you mean x'D I switched from flute to piccolo because no one else in the school wanted to play it. so I got to call myself the "Principal Piccoloist" and 'section leader' and all that good stuff despite being the only piccolo player LOL
