PLS HELP!!! Find the slope of a line parallel to x-y=16.

eviant:

@Allison @BRAINIAC

BRAINIAC:

Rearrange the eqn into \(y=mx+b\)

BRAINIAC:

where \(m=slope\) \(b=y-intercept\)

BRAINIAC:

\(y=x-16\)

BRAINIAC:

Keep in mind that, when both lines are parallel to each other,the slope will be the same \(y=\color{red}{1}x-16\)

BRAINIAC:

Therefore, \(m=1\)
