PLS HELP!!! XZ=n, WZ=2n-5, and the perimeter of XWZ is 20. What is the value of n? https://dlap.gradpoint.com/Resz/~yUA6AAAAAAwvjkXzADuInA.bJYr0c-nB326R4XWoof6bB/7234256,163/Assets/questions/test/geometry/geoisoc/mc084-1.jpg

Two sides of the triangle are marked, this means they are equal to each other. This means this is an isosceles triangle, so two sides are equal. Meaning that \(\bf{WZ=WX}\). So \(\bf{2n-5=WX}\). The perimeter is a total of 20. So you add all the known variables and simplify. \(\large\bf{(2n-5)+(2n-5)+n=20}\) Simplify.

5 3 7 6

eviant:

those are the choices, none of them add up to 20, they're either less than 20 or more than 20

563blackghost:

You need to simplify the equation to find what n is.

6?
