Mods get harassed by regular users and regular users dont typically get harassed by mods. Makes life easier for the mods, I'd imagine.

Moderators need to be able to talk and negotiate with you if you are breaking rules. For example, if someone is giving direct answers, but we want to reason with them before giving them a system warning - then we might do that via the direct messages. If mods could be blocked, such interactions would not be able to happen.

And moderators can block others. We're people too and needs breaks from people at times. Also if someone is spamming our direct messages, we can block them instead of banning them to make them stop (lol).

Ultrilliam blocked me because he’s petty. Because I told him to shove it for suspending me before Bearclaws72, and he didn’t suspend him till he saw what he did. Bear is a friend of Ultri's and I wasn’t the only one asking for Bear to be banned, others were too. But he refused to ban him till he saw the actual reason, which was him making comments about my personal life.

Because everyone knows Bear isn’t nice and he makes mean comments. He had recently came back from a one week suspension due to being rude yet he still is rude.

but we know that you already know the rules, and you knowingly break those rules, we suspend.

In the most recent bearclaws episode, from my understanding, Ultri was on his phone and had difficulty responding to the situation in a timely manner. I think you're viewing his lateness to suspend as "hesitation caused by choosing favorites" when in reality it was because he couldn't maneuver between report windows and chat logs as fast?
